Bella has been coming up with the greatest questions/comments lately.
While we were blowing bubbles outside the other day, we watched as Gracie waddle/ran to try and catch them. She was being silly-- Gracie always loves to make us laugh..... Bella say's, "Mom, I'm so glad that Gracie turned out to be so funny.....
Yesterday while doing school-- we were talking about the five food groups. We got to the dairy part-- cheese, milk....
I can tell she thinking---- then she ask's, "How do you make dairy?"
I explained that dairy came from cows milk. She looked down at the stawberry yogert she was eating--"this is dairy, right?" (eyes getting bigger) "Wow, they sure do a good job!"
Today, during her requested cooking lessons, we were making meat loaf. Once again, "Where does this meat come from".... I told her cows.
She then made a face, "yuck!" I told her that God gave us animals to eat, to give us energy.
"Why can't we just couldn't eat oranges instead?"
Love the deep thoughts of a five year old!
