Tuesday night the electicity went out....with it the heat. It was right in the middle of "Charlie Brown Christmas"
Life isn't fair.
So, around 1am I finally convinced Nathan to build a fire. He did so, and promptly fell asleep on the couch. I attempted to awaken him to no avail-- I threw a blanket over him and bundled up the two girls in bed with me beneath a down comforter, and two warm blankets.
It was fun and warm.
Nate survived the night downstairs alone. The fire had gone out soon after he built it, and he said that when he woke up in the wee hours the thermostate read 50 degrees. It really wasn't bad at all, and we woke up in the morning with all the lights on! Just goes to show you what you really can live without!!
ps- these pictures are from last Christmas. The girls have changed and grown so much. Getting a camera this weekend, so finally will have NEW photos!
